Chisholm Trail Whitetails offers exceptional deer on several thousand acres of prime South-central Kansas habitat. We have a mixture of tree-lined creeks, timber, rolling pastures, and crop land. We are located in Units 13 and 15. There has been a very limited amount of deer hunting for the past several years.

You will be hunting from ground blinds, tree stands, spot and stalk, rattling, and other various methods of hunting deer. We specialize in bowhunting trophy Kansas whitetails. With over 20 years of bowhunting experience and several Pope and Young and Boone and Crocket class deer harvested, we can provide you with the hunt of a lifetime. At Chisholm Trail Whitetails, our goal is to harvest big, mature bucks of 4 ½ years old or older. We do not emphasize the score of an animal, but rather the quality and experience of the hunt. All the hunts are "fair chase" hunts. Our hunts are very personal with only three hunters per week which insures you will get our personal service and attention.

We do take 2-3 rifle hunts per season to insure that we maintain the quality of our deer herd.

To help insure that young bucks get a chance to become old bucks, I've instituted a management fee of $1500 for any buck killed that scores under 140 or is less than 4 years old.
